Lil Wayne's 'rebirth' Debuts At Number Two

Rap star Lil Wayne got another bit of good news this week, one day after getting a reprieve from entering a New York prison. His CD Rebirth, though widely panned by critics, debuted at Number Two on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week, with first-week sales of 176,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan. He was blocked from the Number One position by country trio Lady Antebellum.

Though not a chart-topper, Rebirth gives Wayne his seventh top 10 album. He sold 1 million copies in the first week with 2008's Tha Carter III.

Wayne was set to be sentenced Tuesday on gun possession charges in New York, but his sentencing was postponed to March 2nd so that the rapper could get surgery for a cracked tooth.
