Celine Dion Returns To Las Vegas

By: Lauren Moraski

Celine Dion is officially heading back to Las Vegas. The Canadian singer will return to Caesars Palace for a new three-year $100 million deal. The stint doesn't begin until 2011, but tickets for the first 54 performances (from March 15 through August 14, 2011) go on sale this Friday (February 12th). Dion said future shows will be based around her 9-year-old son Rene-Charles'school schedule.

Dion will stage a different show than she did for her last Vegas gig, which ran from 2003-2007. The upcoming event will feature 31 musicians, consisting of a full orchestra and band. Dion says, "With the orchestra and the band we're going to be able to perform our songs like never before. The repertoire is going to be extraordinary -- a mix of timeless Hollywood classics, along with all the favorites that my fans like to hear me sing."

Dion's new concert documentary, Celine: Through the Eyes Of The World, starts to hit theaters February 17th.

CELINE DION OPENS UP ABOUT FERTILITY WOES

Celine Dion opens up about her recent fertility woes in the new issue of People magazine. The 41-year-old singer has experienced difficulty having her second child, but says, "I'm going to try until it works." Dion has been giving herself daily hormone shots ever since the loss of a pregnancy in August and three other failed IVF attempts last fall. She adds, "Five's my lucky number, so this is the time it's got to work." Meanwhile, Dion's 68-year-old husband, Rene Angelil, says they "go crazy" waiting for the results after each attempt.
