Rihanna Just A Friend, Says Matt Kemp - Again

Singing star Rihanna has been linked with Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp after they were photographed smooching and cuddling during a Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, vacation in January. Each has denied they are dating. Kemp, 25, issued another denial this week, saying that he's too busy with training camp and his Dodgers career to be sidetracked by the media frenzy. "I can't get distracted by that," Kemp said on the L.A. Dodgers Web site. "When it's time to play baseball, that's my job. No distractions." As to Rihanna, Kemp stressed that she is "just a friend, a good friend of mine." He adds, "We went down to Mexico and had fun together."

Kemp is trying to keep his priorities straight. The center-fielder was just given a two-year, $10.95 million contract with the Dodgers after winning Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards.
