Rihanna Unveils 'rude Boy' Video

Rihanna is previewing the new video "Rude Boy" from her CD Rated R. The clip shows the Bajan singer in a variety of dancehall-styled outfits and settings. Directed by Melina Matsoukas, the style of the video also harkens back to the pop art look of classic videos of the '80s. "A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough," Rihanna explained to MTV.com. "'Rude Boy' is more playing along the lines from my roots. We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dance-hall-queen type," the singer said.
